Riverview Reopening Advisory Committee
The 54-member Riverview Reopening Advisory Committee has been meeting since the school year began and includes students, parents, and staff. The purpose of the committee is to advise the school district on the nuances to consider as we move through the various phases of Reopening. This includes discussion and recommendations concerning the structure and timing of the phases for reopening. The committee has:
Suggested questions to be answered and provided input toward community communications.
Attended 10 school visitations in four school districts, at all levels, to inform our Riverview COVID-19 Reopening Plan (school districts included Sultan, Peninsula, and White River at the elementary level, and Chehalis and White River at both the middle school and high school level).
Provided an avenue for discussion and ideas regarding reopening K-12.
Committee members have served as a direct resource to answer student, staff, and parent questions.
