With the return of our K-1 students to In-Person Learning on Monday, February 1, 2021, the Food Services Department will be providing “Grab and Go” meals at school to take home.

  • Students in the a.m. cohort will receive meals as they leave school. Meals will include a lunch for that day and a breakfast for the next day.

  • Students in the p.m. cohort will receive meals as they leave school. Meals will include a lunch and a breakfast for the following day.

  • On Tuesdays, students will be sent home with additional meals for Wednesday.

  • On Fridays, students will be sent home with additional meals for Saturday and Sunday.

“Grab and Go” Meal Kits will be available for students not yet phased-in or have elected to remain in our Remote Learning program.

Meal Kits will continue to be available for pick-up on Tuesdays and Fridays and include breakfast and lunch items for multiple days. On Tuesdays, meal kits will provide items for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On Fridays, the meal kits will provide items for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Note: Beginning on February 1, 2021, meal pick-up times will be changing to Noon to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. Meal pick-up locations will be located at Carnation Elementary, Cedarcrest High School, Cherry Valley Elementary, Duvall Highlands MHC, and Stillwater Elementary.

Pre-orders are required for “Grab and Go” Meal Kits. To complete the Meal Kit Pre-Order form, go to the Engage website, select Food Services, click the "Pre-Order Meal Kits" button on the left sidebar.

When ordering “Grab and Go” Meal Kits, please do not order kits for students who are attending In-Person Learning on campus. Federal regulations do not allow a family to pick up Meal Kit meals, while also receiving meals while attending school.

For students returning to In-Person Learning in grades K-1, the last day for “Grab and Go” Daily Meals will be Thursday, January 28, 2021.

All children in district boundaries, 18 years of age or younger, are eligible for free meals through the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.

Our Food Services team will continue serving meals at all locations, following all CDC guidelines and Health Department recommendations for safety protocols, including wearing face coverings, gloves, and maintaining physical/social distancing regulations.
